Where Creatives come to reclaim their physical body.

Hi, I’m Lainie.

I am a former athlete turned artist who has been studying the relationship between the physical body and creativity for over twenty years. Using foundational principles of the human metabolism and movement as well as philosophy and art, I help artists find a deeper sense of creativity and flow in their work.

The body is the original canvas.

The more we reconnect with our physical roots, the more it is possible to see that beauty and complexity exists in each one of us. And while there are foundational laws that are inherent to being human, individually each one of us is our own artwork that is fluid and in constant rhythm with our environment and one another.

In this interpretation of the human, we are the creators, the artists of our body. Aesthetics, then, are an expression of the beauty we hold within and the more we seek the depths of our own artistic potential, the more our inherent beauty reflects outside of us.

Every layer of us is an expression of our creativity and when understood within the laws of the physical medium that we are working with, the possibilities become endless.

When the body comes alive, so does the art.

Ways to work with me

  • One-on-One Health Mentoring

Whether you are an artist, seeking to improve your relationship with your body, or navigating chronic symptoms, metabolic mentorship can be a powerful starting point — helping you unlock the keys to deeper energy, resilience, and self-trust.

  • The Artist's Body (Coming soon...!!)

An 8-week course exploring the powerful link between your body and your creativity. Through simple metabolic principles, you’ll learn to fuel your brain and heart, unlock creative flow with more ease, and build a sustainable artistic practice.

  • Holistic Strength Training

Looking to get stronger while feeling better and moving more freely? Learn how to train without burnout by focusing on movement patterns that build strength, support longevity, and help you age with vitality.

Who I work with:

  • Creatives who feel artistically blocked, tired of “mindset fixes,” and ready to get out of their head and into their body.

  • Artists who are underfed, overstimulated, and stuck in survival mode.

  • People navigating hypothyroid-related symptoms (hair loss, cold hands and feet, fatigue, brain fog, digestive issues, low motivation, addiction, etc) who want to understand their body more deeply and reconnect with their intuition.

  • Those burned out by diet and fitness culture and the endless pressure to eat less and exercise more.

  • People who want to see the beauty in their body and free themselves from the machine-like routines that so many health programs enforce.

  • Anyone seeking autonomy in their body through experimentation, education, and embodied practice.

What People Are Saying

“One of Lainie’s gifts was a truly unique approach customized to me. She heard me. My conversations with Lainie guided me through a whole series of intuitive and spontaneous areas and overall these interactions with her changed my life. My style really is sometimes to throw out a bunch of curveballs and Lainie was more than up for the challenge and gave me very direct intuitive useful, sometimes surprising, feedback that really hit home with true impact which I took deeply to heart and actually implemented. So good.”

“Lainie was/is a godsend in terms of the help I’ve needed on my healing journey—she’s a wealth of information, extremely well-researched (but also open minded!), and endlessly curious. In the past few months I have experienced a gradual increase in energy and a decrease in many of the symptoms/byproducts of years of stress and likely undernourishment (anxiety, other mental health symptoms, fatigue, hair loss). I genuinely feel like I am on the right path because of the information and suggestions I received throughout our sessions. Because of Lainie I’ve come to understand the slow burn of healing, how facilitating the right environment for your body up to heal itself is so important, and how patience and experimentation are key.”

“I found Lainie back in March and it’s been a dream ever since. I’d gone through a number of different programs and nutrition trainers, but none of them ever felt right, felt like they listened to me, felt like they really heard what my issues were, until her. I’m so psyched that we get to work together towards my goals!”
